Манай орон газрын доорхи эрдэс баялгаараа баян. Өнөөдрийн байдлаар 6000 гаруй ашигт малтмал, эрдэс чулуулаг бүртгэгдээд байна. Дашрамд дурцахад Монголын геологичид дэлхийн геологийн шинжлэх ухаанд хоёр эрдэс, нэг чулуулаг шинээр бүртгүүлсэн байна.
